Preschool-5th graders at 9:00 will begin with music in the choir room and then move on to our "Hands on Experience" in room 28.
K-5th graders at 10:15 will have a new curriculum organized around a Biblical virtue and memory verse framework for each month, meeting for a small and large group time.
We want each child to grow up knowing these three basic truths:
- I need to make the WISE choice.
- I can TRUST God no matter what.
- I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated.

Our strategy is for children to model the characteristics Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52. “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.” (Therefore “252 Basics.”)
Here's what is happening Sunday, 03-14-10
9:00 Education Hour: Hands on Experience is going green today. Since St. Patrick’s Day is this week (March 17), we will have a project decorating a large shamrock which tells about the Trinity. Also-Leprechauns have whispered that they have hid gold coins around and the children will have to help discover them.
10:15: (252 Basics): In March our virtue is “Honesty.” On March 14, our Bible Story is “Cover Up” (Joseph’s brothers lied to Jacob). The bottom line: “When you’re not truthful, you hurt the people you should care about most.”
One Great Hour of Sharing: If your child did not “catch” a fish bank this past Sunday, extras are available on the name tag table in the narthex. They should be returned well fed on Palm Sunday, March 28. (Parents-please tape them together so we don’t have to fish for coins on the floor-thank you!)
Children’s Offering and Stewardship:
Do you know what the children’s offering is used for?
· We sponsor 1 Compassion Child. (Tatiana from Columbia)
· Baptism candles and Bibles for infants in our church family
· Helping those in need (locally or internationally)
