AMY BROWN 

Amy is a Grand Rapids, Michigan native.  She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College and Western Michigan University with a B.S. degree in elementary education.  Amy taught for 10+ years in the Lowell Area Schools.  She has been a member of the PCUSA since confirmation in 9th grade and a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church since 1984.  Amy has been on staff since 1991.  She has been active on the Presbytery of Lake Michigan's Christian Education Committee.

Amy and her husband, Bill, have two children. Their daughter, Laura, is married to James who is in the United States Coast Guard, stationed in cape Canaveral, Florida.  Their son, Scott, is a college student majoring in music education at Alma with a focus on percussion.
