This letter is a replication of the one that is included in the green folder in your advent bag!
For more information about the specific items in your bag, please continue scrolling down and I have all of the items listed with what they are! Additionally, make sure you have joined our FHPC KIDS facebook page- it is there that I will be posting a daily video devotion for you and your family to watch together! :) It truly makes me sad to not get to be with you and your students at church throughout this holiday season, but I know you will find ways to make it meaningful! Praying we will all be able to be reunited soon and I hope that you and your family have a wonderful and Merry Christmas! May God continue to bless you throughout the rest of the year! :) Miss you all and praying for you daily! Love, Miss Ash :) |
ITEMS IN YOUR RED BAG!!!
IN THE GREEN FOLDER
A CARD FROM MISS ASH- how could I not?! WELCOME LETTER- Duplicated on this web page! WEEKLY CHRISTMAS DEVOTION BOOKLET- This booklet is referenced in the red twine devotional and will show up every Monday, but it also can be used by families who are just looking for a once a week commitment. It will cover the main parts of the Bible story along with some discussion questions for your family and a prayer! CHRISTMAS TRIVIA- This appears in the red twine devotional on DECEMBER 20 and Miss Ash will post the answers to the FHPC KIDS website on the 20th OREO BALLS RECIPE- This appears in the red twine devotional on DECEMBER 11. We did NOT include the materials for this one- you're on your own to find ingredients for this or another cookie recipe to accomplish the task of the day! A NEW TAKE ON THE TRADITONAL ADVENT CALENDAR... CONVERSATION STARTERS- This includes instructions on what to do once you cut up the strips. I suggest cutting them up and putting them in a jar and then letting everyone pull one question out while listening to all of the answers from each person! This is a GREAT car game if you are traveling anywhere! HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN ADVENT CALENDAR COUNTDOWN.... PAPER CHAIN- Cut the strips up and you can either add a chain link each day or you can put the chain together and pull a chain link off for each day. This is a quick devotional that just includes the important verses surrounding the story of Jesus' birth. There's not much more to it than that. COLORING ADVENT BOOK- This is for the kids out there that love to color! There is a blank strip on the left hand side of each page so that after you are done coloring all of the pages, you can bind it together (you can use staples or glue each page together) and keep it from year to year! |
