Camping at Preschool!
Who we are...
FHPC Preschool is part of Forest Hills Church and a part of their mission to the community it serves. We believe that every child is created and loved by God, as declared in the Old and New Testaments and revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere that allows the preschool child to experience God's love and a program that expands the preschooler's social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth. Being NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited for over 25 years and part of Michigan's Great Start to Quality program ensures parents that they are choosing an outstanding preschool program.
The 2025-2026 school year marks the preschool's 41st year of operation! Each year we provide a nurturing, Christian preschool experience for approximately 70 children.

Meet Our Staff
All of our classrooms are staffed with warm and loving teachers who work together to achieve an interesting and challenging curriculum, with a teacher/child ratio of approximately 1:7 for our 3's Program; 1:9 in our 4's Program; and 1:9 in our Young 5's Program.
Each of our staff members hold degrees or certifications in Education, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, or Child Development. They are also CPR and Pediatric First certified, and have been Red Cross trained to use the Defibrillator, Asthma First Aid, and Epi Pen injections. All staff must frequently update their skills by attending classes in Early Childhood Development on an annual basis.
