What is Kids' Night Out? | Once a month (generally September-May) our high school ministry students host a Kids' Night Out for all potty-trained 3 years olds (by Sept 01, 2024) - 4th graders. It's a night of games, crafts, movies, popcorn, video games and more at our church from 6PM- 10PM. The children have a blast as the parents are able to enjoy an evening to themselves! :)
Is it free? | Since this is a fundraiser for our high school students, we are charging $16 a kid for the entire evening! (that's four hours of childcare & planned activities for just $16 a kid! $15 plus a $1 online handling fee) The proceeds will be given directly to our high school mission trip. Our high school students and leaders host this event as a service to our community as well as to raise funds for their summer mission trip!
Who is watching my child(ren)? | Most of the staff are high school students, that are overseen by adults. There is always a CPR/First Aid certified person on the premise and all adults over 18 have passed a background check.
How do you split up age groups? | We have a group of K- 4th graders and then a classroom of 3 and 4 year olds (who must be potty-trained and self-reliant in the bathroom). The K-4th graders will have free reign of the lower level to move freely between activities before a snack and movie time at the end. Whereas 3's & 4's will have a more regulated time in a classroom, rotating together to different activities before their snack and movie time in their own space. Both groups will be kept separate from one another.
Due to our new system- we will NOT be issuing refunds for any cancelled registrations for this month. So please make sure you can attend before registering!

What are the rules? | We have just a couple of hard and fast rules to ensure the safety of the children that attend this fun evening. Please respect that there are NO EXCEPTIONS to these rules. We thank you in advance for your understanding and adherence to the following:
1) If a child is hurt/upset/homesick etc. we will do our best to distract/engage/comfort him or her. Calling the guardian back to the church will always be our last resort, so PLEASE be mindful of that, should you receive a call from us during the evening and please return in a timely fashion.
2) NO ELECTRONICS MAY BE BROUGHT TO KIDS NIGHT OUT. CELL PHONES, IPODS, HAND HELD GAMING SYSTEMS, ETC.
By signing up to participate in Kids Night Out, I release from liability and waive my right to sue Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, their employees, volunteers and agents from any and all claims, including claims of negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in Kids Night Out.
